HOME at Sunset is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing food, counseling, teaching and prayer to needy families, the working poor and those who are temporarily in need of assistance or help. We are here to give a "hand up" not a "hand out." We receive food from National Organizations, and Local Businesses, and we distribute the food, and holiday toys, to individuals, to Ministries, Bible Studies, Churches, and other Tri-Valley Non-Profit Organizations to help those in our community.

Helping others in times of need. Teaching them the ways of Christ so that in time they can help and serve others. We are a non-profit Christian organization with a focus on prayer, teaching, and food giving. We work closely with many National Organizations and agencies, Tri-Valley Churches, local businesses and other non-profit organizations.

About Us and Donations

HOME at Sunset - Fresh Foods, is helping people who are jobless and the working poor. We continue into our seventh year of service, mainly in the Livermore and Pleasanton areas. There are nine churches that we serve as well as other agencies, including a trailer park and at times several apartments complexes. During the holidays we work with the community to get toys for the children. The past year 20,000 toys were given through our local Marines, and Fire Departments. The number of bags of food we give out has become thousands, and thousands yearly. We work three days a week, for 52 weeks a year, giving out Fresh Foods, on a first come first serve basis. We also have a new project called, The Treasure Box, and you can feed your family of four, on thirty dollars a week. If you go to www.thetreasurebox.org you will find HOME at Sunset. In order for HOME at Sunset to continue to serve millions of dollars in food and toys to Livermore and Pleasanton, we desperately need your donations. All donations are a tax write off as we are a private owned non-profit and 501 C 3. Our office is open for counseling and information and our staff has 35 years of experience working and volunteering in this area. We have reference lists and information to find all types of help as well as what we provide. We are open almost 300 days a year. We have 50 to 120 volunteers working to serve you all at different places and times, as well as at special times of the year.
